La Cuisine des Justes

This event is part of the French film festival “Premiers Plans Angers” tour in Asia. For the 3rd consecutive edition, selected first-feature directors come to Macao and Hong Kong from the 17th to 22nd March to present the best of French independent cinema.
Directors Emmanuel Morice and Nicolas Thomä met in 2016. Passionate about cuisine, wine and life, they decided to direct an original documentary on the Loire Valley in France. “The Kitchen with the Righteous” (“La Cuisine des Justes”, 2018) portrays the restaurateurs Gerard and Catherine Bosse in their exploration and celebration of culinary traditions, living wine as well as river products from the region.
