Flavour: Good balance between caramel taste on the front half of the tongue and the pronounced bitterness at the back of the throat. Full-bodied ale. Appearance: White, compact, fine and persistent foam; light colour with a coppery hue, free from suspended solids, but sometimes presents a yeasty haze; soft carbonation. Bouquet: Torrefied and caramelised, possessing grassy notes and a subtle acidity due to the caramelised burnt malt.
