Description:
65% Callet, 20% Manto Negro, 15% Syrah. Easier vintage than 2008 but smaller production. Higher quality grapes. Had been in bottle only two months when I tasted it in 2011. Deep red cherry colour. Attractively restrained perfume though not yet very open. Tight and fresh and zesty. Well structured but very smooth. Some violet floral notes. Dry and fresh and very fine grained. A step up from the 2008. More tension. More intensity and a stronger inner core. Julia Harding MW
