Chateau Beaumont
Château Beaumont is a wine estate in the Haut-Médoc region, known for its red wine based on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It is one of the largest of all properties in Bordeaux in terms of vineyard size, covering 113 hectares (279 acres) of land. There has been a vineyard on the Beaumont estate since 1824. In 1849, it passed into the hands of the Bonnin brothers, who constructed the château in the Renaissance mansard style. Since 1986, Beaumont has been owned by the Grands Millésimes de France group, which is now a joint venture between Suntory and Castel Frères.
