Description:
The fermentation begins spontaneously in oak vats; in February, the wine is racked on the still lush Amarone marcs, rich in must. This traditional vinification technique and the use of 14 hl cherry barrels, where the wine “matures” for about 24 months, ensure a sweet and intense bouquet of ripe fruit.
Tasting highlights ripe fruit, red and black cherries and superb softness and balance.
Ideal to accompany red meats, roasts, and barbecue pork.

The owner/winemaker Marinella Camerani work hard during the last 20 years to maximize the potential of her biodynamic (certified) vineyards. She has emerged from Valpolicella’s backwaters to take center stage amongst Italy’s most celebrated winemakers. “Marinella Camerani can be counted on for wines of true character and personality. Organic farming and minimal handling in the cellar are some of the core principles. This is a sublime set of wines...The estate has made notable wines for some time...” eRobertParker.com
