Chambolle Musigny Les Groseilles
A famous old domaine in Burgundy that has been revitalized since changing ownership in 1997. Owned by Patrick Landanger, Domaine de la Pousse d’Or stands as one of the most recognized names in Volnay. Originally called Bousse d’Or in the 18th Century- which translates as ‘golden earth’; the domaine is located a few miles from Beaune, and the 13 hectares of vineyards are spread among the communes of Volnay, Pommard and Santenay. Impressively there are three Premier Cru Volnays from privately owned vineyards: ‘Close de la Bousse d’Or’, ‘Clos des 60-Ouvrees’ and ‘Clos I’Audignac’. This is the epitome of fine Pinot Noir.
