Pinot Noir
Region, Subregion, Country:
Burgundy, France
Description:
70-year-old vines. 90% whole bunch. 100% new oak. Heady, exciting, nuanced nose with floral, even rosy nose. Real pace here as well as density and energy. So sappy! Readier than some of his grands crus.Great intensity. Massive attack and weight on the palate with the fruit only just disguising the massive tannic charge. Admirable intensity. For the very long term. Excellent life and vibrancy on the end however.
