The Lamarche family were established in the village of Vosne-Romanee in around 1740. Since early 20th century, Henri Lamarche took over the estate, and he inherited la Grande Rue in 1933, which is a monopole of the Estate, one of the rare Grands Crus of Vosne-Romanee. The estate now boasts a total surface area of nearly 28 acres. It adopts integrated viticulture for all vineyards, and expresses both their terroir and history into the wines, which all have in common the elegance that combines exceptional balance and a delicate nose. 2007, Nicole took over the ‘reins’ of the estate and started making changes in the winery, beginning with going organic in the vineyards.
