Description:
It bursts with aromas of cherries, grilled squab, dried flowers and toasty new oak. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and elegant, framed by succulent acids and powdery tannins. This is one of the finer-boned wines in the Sérafin cellar this year.

Like so many of the best producers in Burgundy, the key to Sérafin’s successes are old vines and low yields. Christian has taken painstaking efforts in the vineyard: Strict pruning, de-budding, green harvest, deleafing, yield restriction, triage and destemming of the fruit. The wines are not filtered and with an increase in new oak, these reds are rich, concentrated and age well.
