The most sold wine in the Hartenberg portfolio, now celebrating 26 vintages. Vibrant red in colour. An alluring blend of wild herbs and spices on the nose with hints of freshly picked dark fruits and berries on the palate, ending in a savoury finish. Ripe, soft tannins balance well with the lingering finish.

The first settlers to cultivate the virgin land of the estate known as Hartenberg were in 1692. Today the winery remains in the safe hands of the MacKenzie family who took over in 1987 and have been following their vision of producing outstanding quality wine ever since. The winery itself covers 99 hectares of vineyard, comprising a total of nine different soil types and many different aspects and microclimates.
