Dark red colour. The nose has woody, vanilla and toasted bread notes. The attack is full-bodied, and then the wine reveals well-balanced. Round tannins. The final is long.

Joseph Janoueix is a family home of world renown, built over 5 generations in a spirit of tradition and quality. We produce our wines from the great Bordeaux appellations: Pomerol, Saint-Emilion, Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion as well as Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur. At the head of 18 estates, including Château La Croix Saint Georges, La Croix, Clos des Litanies and La Croix Toulifaut in Pomerol, Château Haut-Sarpe, Le Castelot, Queyron, Haut Ferranda and Franc Cantenac in Saint-Emilion, as well as Château La Gasparde and Saint Genès in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, we cultivate more than 200 hectares of vines with the passion of a job well done. Our company is committed to respecting the environment. Our vineyards are cultivated in line with the practices of sustainable cultivation. Since 2015, 3 of our castles - La Croix Toulifaut, Château de Sarpe and Castelot - have been granted organic farming certification (ECOCERT certification).
