Delicate, floral (acacia flower) nose with a hint of citrus, exotic fruit (passion fruit) and sage. A rich texture with grapefruit and piercing minerality on the palate.
Winery:
Originally from France, the Charrère family moved to the Aosta Valley, Northwest Italy, in the mid 17OOs. With 25 hectares of grapes dedicated to wine production, Les Crêtes is the largest privately held vineyard and winery operating in the Aosta Valley, the smallest and the least populated region in Italy. It is an alpine valley with an altitude of 6OO-85O meters close to Mont Blanc.
Wine Making:
Gentle pressing, 12 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature (18° C), 1-2 months "sur lies" maturation, continual batônnage.
