Winery:
Masciarelli was born in the late 70s from the intuition and courage of Gianni Masciarelli, a pioneer of modern winemaking in Abruzzo. In less than thirty years, the winery became a leader in the production of Montepulciano and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo. Since 2008 Gianni’s wife, Marina Cvetic, and their first daughter, Miriam Masciarelli, lead the company. Masciarelli consistently invests in the value of hospitality and wine-tourism: Castello di Semivicoli, their wine resort, is a beautiful seventeenth century mansion surrounded by vineyards.
Wine Making:
In stainless steel tanks until 1996, since 1997 vinified in wood, from 2012 again in stainless steel. 15-20 days of fermentation, 20-30 days of maceration
