Paternoster winery is located in Barile since 1925, In the heart of Basilicata, with unique soil and climatic conditions. The result is a selection of fine wines with a strong and authentic soul. The estate extends over 20 hectares divided into several crus, very old vineyards located on a natural terrace overlooking the Mount Vulture, a dormant volcano.
Wine Making:
Vinification: traditional on red grape skins for 20 days. Ageing: 50% in Slavonian oak casks, and 50% in French barriques for 20 months. Refining in bottle: 4 months.
