Description:
Wine with a ruby color leaning towards purple and an aroma where scents of fruit, black cherry, flora notes and spicy sensations from aging in wood came together. Juicy and vibrant on the palate with spicy tannins.

Founded in 1974, Querciabella has 74 hectares of vineyards in Chianti Classico and 32 hectares in Maremma. Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni, owner of the winery, started a conversion of the vineyards to organic in 1988, followed by a transition to biodynamic in 2000. No animal-derived products are used in the vineyards or winery, making the wines suitable for vegans & vegetarians.

16 months in fine to extra-fine grained French oak barrels and tonneaux (20% new).
