Description:
An enticing nose of elderflower and pink grapefruit is constantly evolving in the glass. A light, creamy Burgundy character comes through in the mouth – full-bodied with good acidity that shows plenty of fruit character and a mineral backbone.

Five generations of Massas have laboured tirelessly to keep the Timorasso grape from extinction on the steep hills just east of the city of Tortona. It is an ancient, endangered variety, which is very difficult to grow, with tiny yields and immense concentration. “Walter Massa is pretty much the savior of the variety that was once the prime grape in Gavi, before the less interesting but less troublesome Cortese took over.” Jancis Robinson MW
Wine Making:
Fermented in stainless steel vat, lees stirring for at least 6 month then further ageing in bottle for at least one year.
