Description:
"Ripasso" is the unique result of refermenting TOMMASI Valpolicella Classico Superiore on the warm grape skins from which Amarone has been fermented. This process, used only in rare vintage years, imparts the richness of character and personality of a great wine to an already superior wine. ORIGIN: Bure Alto vineyard GRAPES: Corvina Veronese 70%, Rondinella 25%, Corvinone 5% ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13 % by vol. VINIFICATION: refermented on the Amarone grape skins with the method “Ripasso” MATURATION: 18 months in Slavonian Oak barrels of 65 hectoliters COLOR: Deep ruby red FRAGRANCE: Rich spicy black pepper nose with a hint of raisins. TASTE: Full body, very intense, spicy, sweet cherry flavours. Well balanced and full of flavours. RECOMMENDED WITH: White and red meat, game, fresh and aged cheeses SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16°-18°C/60.8-64.4°F
