Description:
The result is a calm wine, of ruby red color with light violet tones, of middle layer. On the nose The Old Fox gives us aromas of black fruits, toasted and cocoas. The palate gives us a marked step, given its tannins, with fruit and very well integrated with the wood of its aging, a long and persistent finish. Ideal companion of meats, sausages and cheeses cured at a service temperature around 15-16oC.

Olga Martín and Agustín Maillo , are partners and owners of the winery, born in the Sierra de Francia , this piece of land so particular, beautiful and cozy that fascinates everyone who knows it. They were born with wine in their DNA. From September to spring, the village smelled vintage, fermentation, "desmostes" (discover), marc, distillation, brandy ... As soon as he remembered, Agustín remembers seeing his grandfather Quico make wine, and as a child he walked around the cellar lending a hand to step on the grapes or move the lever of the razor (the press), tasting the must (or the brandy when it burned the orujo in the alquitara!) or racking. It is something that grows in the mountains and that is within our cultural formation. For us this project has made us return to something that we have inside and that sooner or later had to leave, a moral debt to our old people, a passion: to make wine.
