Description:
Vines are a bit like people. That is why we have chosen the vibrant younger vines for this energetic Cabernet, so that the grapes deliver a wine that is full of life and perhaps a little cheeky. It’s every bit a high class Cabernet without all the weight and seriousness of old age.  Wafts of liquorice, cigar box and black berry with a fresh bouncy whack of fresh red fruit, this wine continues to please and entertain.  And, as with all wines at Warwick – every year they get just that little bit better.
Winery:
Warwick
Built in 1791 under the name ‘Good Success’, the estate was re-named to ‘Warwick’ by Colonel Gordon in 1902 as a tribute to his regiment. Since 1964 Stan & Norma Ratcliff are its proud owners and the first to plant quality grapes for winemaking. It was Norma who, after the first attempts, was so impressed that she went to Bordeaux to study winemaking techniques. The very first Cabernet Sauvignon was released in 1984, which remains the flagship of the estate even today. At Warwick, each wine tells a story from the family’s or estate’s history. In addition to the Cabernet Sauvignon, which is also used for the ‘Trilogy’ series, the Sauvignon Blanc is highly praised for its impeccable value and quality and a favorite of many who have tried it.
