Description:
The nose sets the tone with lifted and expressive aromas of ripe dark berry fruit, blood plum and exotic spice. The palate is a shift right of the core Woods Crampton style – a fair reflection of the Big Show – opulent and mouth-filling with a core of supple blue fruits, licorice and wild spice. The whole bunch character reigns in the fruit to a degree, providing tension and detail to the long finish. The Big Show is a big burst of flavour with intriguing complexity and length.

Woods Crampton was named as "Top 5 Stars Winery" by James Halliday Wine Companion in 2004. What began as a yearly diversion for label designer Aaron Woods and marketer Nicholas Crampton has grown into almost a full time obsession, with a range of wines from the Barossa and Eden Valley spanning fve varieties and numerous styles. The ambition of Woods Crampton is to create unforced wines that showcase the quality of their fruit and tell the story of their vineyards. Minimal intervention winemaking follows to create elegant and expressive wines."
